Who are You?

Quietly awaiting daybreak

Yet the storms seems never ending

The turbulent wave of God

But the silence of the aftershock is deafening

Having to let go of something you were once so sure of

Humbling to say the least

Floating in the void of the unknown,

We sit and wait

Wait for an answer

A clue

A sign

The stillness is frightening

— That is the sign

Why does facing ourselves equate to fear

and facing the Lord,

In trembling

Who has taught us to be afraid?

Why are we hiding?

Where are you?

Who are you.

The stillness is deafening

Let it consume you

Be still

God is Lord.

I pray that in this season you remember that God is Lord. Be still and know that He is God. Rest in the comfort of the stillness. The silence. The peace. Do not fear, run to the Lord, your father. In joy and happiness. No fear, only hope. He misses His children.

Peace + Love ♡
